Michael Eisner's investment firm, The Tornante Company, said today that it has formed a new company, Vuguru, to produce and distribute content for the Internet and other emerging digital platforms. Tornante said that Vuguru's goal is to produce high-quality, story-driven content for the Internet. The studio is launching with its first production, Prom Queen, a serialized mystery which will be sponsored by FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Teleflora.com, ELLEgirl, and Victoria's Secret Pink, Jessica McClintock, People's Liberation, and HotKiss.
