Costa Mesa-based Emulex announced that its host bus adapters have been intergated into NEC Corporation's Express5800 family of blade servers. Emulex's dual-channel Thor Fibre Channel HBA will be integrated into the blade servers, starting with shipment this month in Japan. The high density, optimized rack mount blade servers will include a customized version of the Emulex LP10000 host bus adapters for connection into a storage area network.
