    Emulex Gets Symantec Cert

Costa Mesa-based Emulex, a provider of storage networking products, said today that it has received a certification of its 4Gb/s PCI-X and PCI Express host bus adapters (HBAs) with Symantec's Storage Foundation 5.0 software. The certification means that the Emulex hardware works properly with Symantec's storage management software. Symantec's Storage Foundation software part of Symantec's acquisition of Veritas Software. Storage Foundation is a major storage management software suite, and is used to view and manage storage area networks.
