Costa Mesa-based Emulex, the developer of storage and server networking hardware, said Tuesday that it Paul Folino, the firm's executive Chairman, will depart an active role at the company on November 29th, as part of a transition plan. Folino--who has been at Emulex since 1993--will continue to be Chairman of the Board. Folino hands the reins for the firm over to Jim McCluney, the firm's CEO. McCluney has been CEO since 2006, when Folio took the Executive Chairman role. Folino has had a big role in the firm's direction over the years, having headed up the firm since May 1993. Folino's other board seats include Microsemi Corporation and CoreLogic.
