Costa Mesa-based Emulex, the developer of storage area networking equipment and host bus adapters, said earlier this week that its 16Gb Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs) are now available for HP Proliant systems. The firm said the new adapters are designed specifically for HP ProLiant Servers with PCI-Express I/O slots, under the HP SN1000E HBA line.
