EnGenius Ships New Wireless Product

Costa Mesa-based wireless networking developer EnGenius Technologies said this morning that it has shipped a new, wireless access point--with a twist, in that its new products are specifically aimed at penetrating walls and floors, and users such as hotels, resorts, hospitals, office buildings, universities, or others. According to the company, its EAP900H High-Powered Dual Band N900 Indoor Access Point is specifically designed to transmit signals through those difficult environments, supporting 802.11a/b/g/n. The company said the products retail at $299.
