    ESET Signs OEM Agreement

San Diego-based ESET, a provider of threat protection and antivirus software, announced this morning that it is in an OEM agreement with SAFE-PROTECT, a IT security firm based in Paris. ESET said that SAFE-PROTECT has integrated the firm's NOD32 Antivirus software into its network security appliance. Financial details of the OEM agreement were not disclosed. ESET said that the combined solution will be used to block malware in the appliance, and that the new Safe-Protect BOX with NOD32 will be distributed worldwide starting in July. SAFE-PROTECT's appliance provides antivirus, antispam, firewall, and other security features.
