Eucalyptus Ties With Partners

Santa Barbara-based Eucalyptus, the UCSB spinout which is developing cloud computing software, said today that the firm has linked into a number of partners, including AppScale, Canonical, CohesiveRT, RightScale, rPath, and Ylastic. All of those partners are supporting Eucalyptus through their respective software packages. Eucalyptus develops software which can be used to implement cloud computing within companies. The firm's software is API compatible with Amazon AWS, the public cloud computing offering from Amazon. Eucalyptus is venture backed by Benchmark Capital and BV Capital.
