EVgo: San Diego Tops In EV Charging Usage

Los Angeles-based EVgo, the operator of a public network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, says that San Diego is tops in terms of the amount of use of its electric vehicle charging network. According to EVgo, it is seeing more than 6,000 charging sessions on an average month in San Diego, or the equivalent of more than 455,400 miles of driving in the city. The city with the next highest amount of usage of its EV charging stations is Fremont, then San Francisco. Los Angeles was much farther down the list, at number 7, with only an average of 1,348 charge sessions per month.
