    Evolution Robotics Targets Retailers

Pasadena-based Evoluation Robotics (www.evolution.com) has announced a new product focused on the retail shopping industry. The company's new LaneHawk product uses Evolution Robotics' vision recognition systems to automatically detect and ring up items at the bottom of shopping baskets, reducing loss of items due to unaccounted or hidden items in the bottom of shopping carts. The company says that its product is compatible with all retail POS systems.
