Evolution Scores Win For Navigation Technology

Pasadena-based Evolution Robotics has scored a new design win, saying yesterday that Yujin Robotics has selected the company to provide its next generation robotics technologies and components. Yujin will use Evolution's NorthStar product for its household home robot prototype, a project of the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication. Evolution's NorthStar product provides infrared LED navigation features. Evolution is developing technology for enabling robotics, including visual pattern recognition and navigation systems. The company is backed by Idealab.
