    Experclick Taps Into Contextual Targeting

Santa Barbara-based Experclick is tapping into a new content analysis engine from Crystal Semantics for its advertising network, according to the two companies. Experclick will use Crystal Semantic's technology to better target ads for its banner ad network. Crystal Semantics is a UK-based firm providing technology for automatic analysis of content on a page. The technology analyzes pages for relevance, and returns the context and category of a search term to the advertising server. Experclick then takes that information and posts the most appropriate ad for display to a consumer. Experclick's online services provide real-time auctions of ad space, CPM, CPC, and CPA basis, and can buy inventory from other ad networks.
