Experian Launches Identity Theft Protection Service
Irvine-based Experian Consumer Direct, a provider of credit reports and credit monitoring products, said this morning that it has launched an identity theft monitoring web site, FamilySecure.com. The new credit monitoring service targets parents and guardians, and their children. According to Experian, the new service will notify parents of credit inquiries, open accounts, and other public records about their minor children. Experian said it will offer the service for $19.95 per month.
