Los Angeles-based geolocation data provider Factual has tied with programmatic advertising firm StrikeAd, the two recently announced, to use Factual's data on a global basis. StrikeAd--which had already been using Factual's data in the US--said the move will help European and Asian clients use the location-based targeting capabilities Factual provides via its Geopulse Audience and Geopulse Proximity products. Factual has created an immense geolocation database which it says now covers over 65 million local businesses and points of interest across 50 countries. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
