Fastclick Grows Revenues

Santa Barbara-based Internet advertising provider Fastclick reported yesterday that the company earned net income of $1.5 million on revenues of $19.3M for the second quarter. The revenue was an increase of 58% year to year from the second quarter of 2004. The company attributed the growth in its business from expansion of its advertiser base, diversification of its revenue mix, and the strength and quality of its publisher network. Fastclick also announced that it grew ad impressions by 17% sequentially, and delivered 27 billion ad impressions across a network of approximately 9000 websites. The company closes the second quarter with $81.2M in cash. Fastclick operates an internet advertising network that serves up advertising to a network of Internet sites from advertisers.
