Monrovia-based startup FastSoft, which is developing Internet acceleration products, said Wednesday that it has deployed its product at a colocation services company in the Bay Area. FastSoft said that the Pacific Internet Exchange, a wholesale bandwidth and colocation services provider serving Asia and the Japanese market, has deployed the firm's appliance. Size of the deal was not disclosed. FastSoft is developing products for accelerating TCP/IP, based on research spun out of Caltech. The firm most recently received funding from Miramar Venture Partners.
