    FastSoft Hires Sales, Finance Execs


    Monrovia-based FastSoft, a Caltech spinoff which is developing appliances for accelerating Internet data transfer, said today that it has hired two new executives at the firm. Mike Beard has joined the company as Director of Sales, and Pamela Hunt has joined the company as financial comptroller. Beard was most recently at Netli, and also has served at Interwoven, SAP, Interworld, and HP; FastSoft said that Hunt has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry. FastSoft is developing software-based Internet acceleration products based on optimization of the TCP/IP stack, and is venture funded by Miramar Venture Partners.
