Ferris Finds $2M In Funding

Los Angeles-based video sharing startup Ferris has raised $2M in a seed financing round, led by Upfront Ventures, and also included Allen DeBevoise of Machinima. As part of the the funding, Mark Suster of Upfront Ventures joins the company's board. Ferris develops a mobile, iPhone app which lets users save and share videos they create ont heir phones, and links those videos together into "stories". The startup is led by Paul Bouadakis. The company's app include such features as group stories for capturing videos of things like weddings, sports, concerts, and other life events. More information »
