    Fonality Hires Open Source Expert


    Los Angeles-based Fonality, a developer of open source IP telephony systems, announced this morning that it has hired an open source expert to its team. Fonality, which develops products based on the open source Asterisk software project, said it has hired an expert on Asterisk and trixbox as part of its team. The firm has hired Kerry Garrison as a Senior Product Manager. Garrison is the founder of VOIPSpeak.net and AsteriskTutorials.com, two educational sites focused on voice over IP and Asterisk software.
