    Fonality Rolls Out Call Manager

Los Angeles-based Fonality, a developer of IP PBX phone systems based on the open Source IP PBX software Asterisk, has rolled out a new call and presence management application for the Asterisk Open Source PBX platform. The company said today that its new HUDlite application allows businesses to control calls and manage presence for a business. The application allows users to see when other employees are on calls, who they are talking to, and to manage things like call center operations. Fonality delivers a IP-PBX system that runs on a standard PC, instead of on specialized PBX hardware.
