Foundation 9 Entertainment Names Game Studio

Irvine-based Foundation 9 Entertainment said Thursday that it has given the name "Double Helix" to a new studio which it has formed from Shiny Entertainment and The Collective. It said the new Double Helix studio combines the technologies, team, and practices from the two companies--which it acquired in late 2007--at its Irvine headquaters. Double Helix is currently working on three games for gaming platforms.
