FreedomPop Rolls Out Its Own, Low Cost Android Smartphone In The UK

Los Angeles-based free wireless broadband and phone service FreedomPop ha rolled out its own, low cost Android smartphone, the FreedomPop V7. The new phone--targeted at the European market--costs £59, and includes free voice, text, and data, under certain limits. FreedomPop also offers up higher limit plans. The company said the FreedomPop V7 is the first time it has launched its own smartphone; it has been selling refurbished, low cost devices through its online store for a number of years.
