Friedmann Joins Syntricity
San Diego-based Syntricity said this morning that Marc Friedmann has joined the company as President and CEO. Friedmann joins from EMC Corporation where he was Vice President of EMC's San Diego Labs, the result of the company's acquisition of San Diego-based Prisa Networks. Marc was founder and chairman of Prisa Networks, and also served at AMCC. According to Syntricity, the company's existing President and CEO, Jeff Teza, will continue to advise the company of strategic and business development issues and remain on the board. Syntricity is developing software for device characterization and semiconductor yield management, and is backed by KLM Capital Management, Palomar Ventures, and Windward Ventures.
