Hollywood-based Friendgiftr, a developer of a Facebook application selling retail and restaurant gift cards, disclosed today that it has received funding from a member of the Tech Coast Angels. Amount and timing of the funding was not disclosed. Friendgiftr allows Facebook users to buy and send real and digital gift cards to their friends and family through the Facebook platform. The firm said it has been in "stealth mode" for more than a year. The company's founders are Rob Carpenter and David Murphy.
