MagTek Upgrades to USB

Carson-based MagTek (www.magtek.com) has upgraded its card scanner to support the USB standard. The company's IntelliStripe 380 is used for kiosks and ATMs, banking consumer service terminals, custom retail point-of-sale (POS)terminals, and restaurant and hospitality equipment. The unit also supports an RS-232 interface.
