Broadcom Buys Widcomm for $49M

Irvine-based Broadcom is acquiring San Diego-based Widcomm, a provider of software for Bluetooth wireless devices. Widcomm's software stacks are widely used within the Bluetooth industry, and enable equipment manufacturers to easily implement Bluetooth functionality in their products. More information »
