Gemstar Appoints COO

Pasaden-based Gemstar-TV Guide International has appointed Mike McKee COO of TV Guide Consumer Electronics, which markets the company's interactive program guides and the plus code system. McKee was most recently president of TV Guide's satellite businesses.
