Akonix Upgrades Instant Messaging Firewall

San Diego-based Akonix Systems (www.akonix.com) has upgraded its instant messaging filter to include protection against viruses and worms spread through instant messaging protocols. The new v3.0 software also includes enterprise features to dynamically update protection.
