AMCC Samples Network Processor to OEMs

San Diego-based AMCC (www.amcc.com) announced that its nP3700 integrated network processor and traffic manager is shipping in sample qualities to OEMs. The processors are used in communications equipment in the access, metro and core segments of the network. The company's network processing technology is designed to allow developers to finely control subscriber traffic on ATM and other communications networks.
