    Qualcomm Signs Amoi Mobile


    San Diego-based Qualcomm (www.qualcomm.com) has signed on Chinese handset manufacturer Amoi Mobile, which develops cell phone products. The two have agreed on a worldwide commercial CDMA subscriber agreement, where Qualcomm will receive a multi-million dollar royalty and Amoi Mobile will be allowed to develop, manufacture, and distribute cdmaOne and CDMA2000-based products. Amoi develops high end mobile phones for the Chinese market.
