Trango Joins WiMAX Forum

San Diego-based Trango Broadband Wireless said that it has joined the industry WiMAX Forum. The provider of fixed-wireless broadband connectivity solutions said that it would ensure that all future products designed with WiMAX-based technology are fully backward interoperable with its current product portfolio. The company said that although WiMAX is still in early stages and not positions for cost effective deployment, the company plans to leverage the technology when it is stable and mature.
