Iomega Rolls Out New Hard Drives

San Diego-based Iomega said today that it has begun shipping new models of its Iomega External Hard Drives. The three new models it has added include full USB 2.0, Firewire 400 and Firewire 800 support, and comes bundled with backup and disaster recovery software. The new drives are targeted at Macintosh OS and Windows users in small businesses and homes, and feature 7200 RPM drives with capacities ranging from 160GB to 400GB. The new drives include a Kensington security slot and on/off switch and are priced from $199 to $429 depending on capacity.
