PhatNoise Inks Deal With Kenwood

Los Angeles-based PhatNoise and consumer car audio company Kenwood said today that the two companies have teamed up to include PhatNoise digital music functionality into Kenwood premium automotive CD receivers. Kenwood will embed PhatNoise mCD embedded software technology into its receivers. PhatNoise provides technology for playback of CDs supporting AAC, WMA, MP3 and lossless audio formats, along with the ability to access and organize music content by artist, albums, or genre. The PhatNoise audio technology will start shipping in Kenwood receivers this month.
