Verimatrix Finds $5.0M
San Diego-based Verimatrix announced that it has raised a round of funding from Mission Ventures and Siemens Venture Capital. The firm, which develops digital rights management software, reported that the funding will go towards further expansion of sales, marketing, and product development efforts. The company also reports it has signed an worldwide OEM agreement with Siemens AG, where Siemens will incorporate the company's security products for an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is it developing for its home entertainment systems.
