Energy Innovations Acquires Solar Power Integrator

Pasadena-based Idealab startup Energy Innovations has acquired Prevalent Power, a Bay Area based solar power systems integrator. Prevant Power will be renamed EI Solutions, and will provide initial sales and installations of Energy Innovations new low-cost rooftop solar power systems. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Prevalent CEO Arno Harris will become general manager of EI Solutions. Energy Innovations was founded by Bill Gross and is part of his portfolio of Idealab incubated companies.
