Vativ Technologies Finds $11M

San Diego-based Vativ Technologies has received a Series B round of funding of $11M. Funding was led by Innocal Venture Capital and included new investor Intel Digital Home Fund. Existing investors Redpoint Venture Capital, Mission Ventures, and Qualcomm co-founder Andrew Viterbi also participated in the round. Rick Gold of Innocal will join the company's board as part of the funding. Vativ is developing DSP-based transceivers which enable high speed connections over copper media. The company is targeting applications in the digital television and 10 Gigabit Ethernet markets. More information »
