    Novatel Ships HSDPA Wireless Modems


    San Diego-based Novatel Wireless said today that it has shipped new PCI Express mini card modems for HSDPA 3G wireless broadband networks. The company's new Expedite EU730 and Expedite EU740 PCI Express Mini Cards are usable in High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) networks and are backwards compatible with GPRS and GSM wireless data access networks. Novatel is a developer of broadband wireless access cards for laptops and other portable platforms.
