    Breach Unveils New Web Application Security Application


    Carlsbad-based Breach Security released new web application security software this morning. The company said that its BreachGate WebDefend protects users from identity theft, information leakage, loss of trade secrets and intellectual property by monitoring outgoing web traffic for sensitive information. The company said that the company's software detects patterns such as social security numbers and credit card numbers and prevents transmission of those to the Internet. The company said that the company's WebDefend products starts at $20,000.
