3D Systems Packs Up, Moves To South Carolina

Valencia-based 3D Systems announced this morning that it is consolidating its corporate headquarters, operations, and R&D to a new facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The company said it will shut down its Valencia corporate headquarters by September 30th of next year. The company is also shutting down its facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. 3D Systems did say that it plans to maintain an Advanced Research facility in Valencia for developing future technologies. The company said that it expects to save $2.5M a year in operating cost savings by making the move.
