Massachusetts Firm Buys Project.net

Integrated Computer Solutions, a Massachusetts-based software firm, has acquired San Diego-based Project.net, a provider of open source software for project and portfolio management. Terms were not disclosed. Project.net is a commercial open source package targeted at software and project management. ICS said that Project.net's current customers include Amazon.com, Shopzilla.com, Cornell University, and Bankers life. Project.net founder Roger Bly will serve as the company's VP of Research and Development.
