Iomega Rolls Out Mac Storage Device

San Diego-based Iomega has rolled out a new storage device targeted at Apple Mac OS X users, the firm said today. The company said that its new UltraMax 650GB Desktop Hard Drive is targeted at providing Mac users with high-capacity storage that matches the Apple Mac Pro and Power Mac design. The new device provides RAID O protection and USB 2.0 connectivity, and is preformatted to the Mac HFS+ file system. The new storage system is priced at $449.95.
