    French Company Buys San Diego Battery Firm


    Uniross, a French provider of rechargeable batteries and chargers, said today that it has acquired North American Battery Company (NABC), a San Diego-based developer of rechargeable batteries. Financial terms were not disclosed. The two are rolling out a new, ready-to-use rechargeable battery under the brand "Hybrio", which allows consumers to purchase a fully charged batteries in the package. The firms market batteries under the names Ultralast, Again and Again, and Uniross.
