Whyville Adds Former Neopets SVP To Advisory Board

Los Angeles-based Whyville, an online virtual world targeted at children and young teenagers, said Wednesday that it has named Jeff Snetiker, former Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning for Neopets, to its board of advisors. Snetiker has also served at Talk City, where he was CFO, as well as Paramount Pictures, Group W Productions, Reeves Communications and United Paramount Network. Whyville is a CalTech spinoff owned by Numedeon, which uses interactive learning and virtual community to help kids with math, science, technology, history, and archeology and other subjects.
