MTV Networks Buys Quizilla.com

Viacom's MTV Networks said this morning that it has acquired Los Angeles-based Quizilla.com, an online user-generated community that allows teenage authors to share quizzes, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and other content, from Gorilla Nation. Financial terms were not disclosed. Quizilla.com will become part of the Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, which also owns neoPets.com, Showave.com, and AddictingGames.com. Los Angeles-based Gorilla National is a ad sales firm that represents web publishers, and was represented by The Jordan, Edminston Group in the transaction.
