Fox Rolls Out Widget SDK

Los Angeles-based Fox Interactive Media announced today that it has rolled out a new platform for web sites to integrate content from Fox's content sites, including IGN.com, FOXSports.com, and local Fox stations. The firm's new SpringWidgets platform comes from a new division from Fox Interactive Media, FIM Labs. The application programming interface also allows developers to build their own widgets for blogs and other websites. FIM Labs said it is also offering the widgets to users of Fox's MySpace social networking web site.
