    Staccato Unveils UWB Hardware


    San Diego-based Staccato Communications said Monday that it has unveiles a Wafer Chip Scale Package (WCSP) based on its Ripcord single chip wireless USB solution. The new form factor chip allows hardware designers to incorporate Staccato's technology as part of wafer level chip scale packaging integration. Staccato develops all-CMOS wireless USB chips.
