THQ Acquires Game Studio

Agoura Hills-based THQ announced this morning that it has acquired Mass Media, Inc., a Southern California-based game studio, to focus on next-general console development. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Moorpark-based Mass Media has over 50 employees, and has previously developed games from Time Warner Interactive.
