QLogic Gets Win At HP With Storage Router Product

Aliso Viejo-based QLogic has scored a win at HP for a new storage router, the firm said today. QLogic said that it has released the HP StorageWorks IP Distance Gateway, an intelligent storage router used by enterprises to connect storage area networks over WAN connections. The new device is based on QLogic's SANbox 6142, and is qualified for use with HP's Storageworks arrays and software. Storage routers are used by IT administrators to connect storage area networks across long distances, for disaster recovery, replication, and other data services.
