Quanlight Adds $3M In Series B Funding

San Diego-based Quanlight has added $3M in a Series B funding, the company said Monday morning. The developer of high-power, red light emitting diodes (LEDs) said that the funding was led by Blackbird ventures and (SHW)2 Enterprises, along with private investors. Harvey White, chairman of (SHW)2, has joined the board. White is former director, president, and COO of Qualcomm, as well as CEO and Chairman of Leap Wireless. More information »
