DivX Names Halvorson As CFO

San Diego-based DivX announced Monday morning that it has hired Dan L. Halvorson as the firm's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Halvorson was most recently CFO of Novatel Wireless. Halvorson has been at Novatel Wireless since early 2000, and has also been ad Dura Pharmaceuticals and Alliance Pharmaceuticals. DivX is a developer of video compression and decompression software.
